It is a privilege to be the Headteacher of such a vibrant, enthusiastic and motivated community of pupils, staff and families. At Cromwell Academy, we are proud to welcome every visitor and to share the energy, ambition and warmth that define our school.

Cromwell Academy provides a truly 21st century education for all children, enriched by innovative technologies and sustainable features such as solar energy and rainwater recycling. Our purpose-built site is designed for single-form entry, with modern, well-equipped classrooms and specialist spaces including a sensory room, a dedicated learning support room, a curriculum enrichment room and a large hall with kitchen. We are also proud to offer a modern outdoor classroom and a welcoming community room that hosts our Cromwell Academy Kids Club, providing excellent wraparound care for children aged 4–11.

Our outdoor environment is just as inspiring. Children enjoy access to extensive play areas, a playing field with a trim trail, a Wildlife Haven, a willow dome and dedicated Reception and Key Stage 1 spaces. In addition, our close partnership with Hinchingbrooke Country Park takes outdoor learning and our “Forest School” curriculum – to an exciting new level.

Of course, buildings and facilities are only part of what makes a school special. What truly defines Cromwell Academy are the people: our talented staff, committed governors, supportive parents and, most importantly, our wonderful children. Together, we create a caring, respectful and inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued and inspired to try their best.

Our aim is to educate the whole child. We nurture resilience, independence, curiosity and reflection alongside strong academic skills. We value all curriculum areas, from the arts and sciences to sport, IT and the humanities and encourage every child to discover and build on their individual talents. With a rich programme of extra-curricular clubs, performances, competitions and celebrations of achievement, we ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive, shine and succeed.

We are proud of our strong links with the wider community and with the ACES Academies Trust. Our close relationship with Hinchingbrooke School, just a short walk away, gives our pupils access to additional facilities, shared expertise and a smooth, supportive transition to secondary education.
